Day 8 - Tumby Bay to Nullarbor Roadhouse - 875km

Woke to a beautiful day ... so very different from the extremes of the previous two days. Had perfect riding conditions all day long.
First stop was at Coffin Bay however was too early for oyster eating so just stopped for fuel and kept going.

Not too sure what this photo is meant to be of...
Or this one...
Lots of long straight roads today.....almost forget how to turn the bike at times.
Stopped in at Venus Bay for a quick look..
Nullarbor here we come...
Takes a while to overtake these guys....

Finally....the start of the world famous Nullarbor Plain...

Lots of nothing to see.....
Haven't got the photo to prove it but did see a dingo running along the roadside here..

Stopped for the night at Nullarbor Roadhouse Hotel/Motel...and got to see a beautiful sunset over the plain.
Everything is so expensive here....$2.09.9 per litre for fuel....not much chance of a hangover either as beers way too expensive. Guess there ain't much competition around so can charge what they like....it is a long way from nowhere or anywhere..Although the ironic thing is the ocean is only a couple of kays away and at the right time of year can go whale watching here.
