Day 6 - Adelaide to Port Augusta - 352km

As today was scheduled to be a rest day (no riding) we headed for Honda World not far from Glenelg to see what we could do about Kerrie's headset. Turns out that even though they sell Goldwings the spare parts dept apparently knows absolutely nothing about Goldwing audio systems and the headset requirements. After offering up several totally unsuitable options we politely said don't worry about it for now and moved on.
Photo below shows what seems to be a looming argument between us and a Tram...guess who won!!
Photo below could well be a tribute to all politicans in this country.....
After a walk down Rundle Mall we decided to head north to Port Augusta some 300km away. This proved to be a journey along some wide open spaces and some very high temperatures. 37 degrees made for a very hot dry trip and the beers at the end went down real well.

Along the way passed through a small town called Snowtown....became very famous just over 10 years ago...anyone remember why?
More lonely straight, very hot roads....so much for a rest day.
Tomorrow we head for Ceduna via Port Lincoln and Coffin Bay...then the Nullarbor beckons......
