Day 14 - Perth to Geraldton - 509km

Today started off with a visit back to Causeway Honda bright and early to investigate why the GPS has no volume after the service yesterday. 2 hours later and with the bike in pieces there was still no obvious explanation so there was no other choice but to put it all back together and worry about it later.
This meant quite a late departure from Perth but fortunately today's destination was only 500km up the road at Geraldton. After returning to the hotel to pack the bike and  leave the GPS magically starting working again by itself...no explanation why and not game to phone Causeway Honda and tell them either. Maybe it was something to do with Friday 13th!!!

Finally on our way and made a slight detour to stop in at Barbagallo Raceway to have a quick look as you can see below.

This was quite a good mural on the outside wall of the truckstop at Cataby, which is about 175km north of Perth.

Was quite a boring day today really, but couldn't let you off without a couple of the obligatory photos of the long stretches of road disappearing into the distance.

The photo below is of a old church on the side of the road somewhere....

Not long before Geraldton came across a lot of these 'Leaning Trees', apparently caused by the heavily salt laden winds in this part of the country.

Into Geraldton late in the arvo..quite a large town...even got a Bunnings and BCF...but not much else going for it, although did have a excellent dinner at the hotel/motel restaurant.
