Day 3 - Eden to Phillip Island - 635km

Early start again leaving Eden heading for Phillip Island.

Entering Victoria was a great escape from the constant gaze of speed cameras in NSW. And I thought the fun police were bad in Queensland!!!  Good roads made for good speed!!

Went to Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit watching a local Bike Club racing around the circuit..... and listening to the unmistakable sound of Ducatis!!!

On to the penguin watching...with a small group and a Ranger guide we watched the penguins come ashore on a secluded beach.......using night vision goggles ...it was a great experience (apparently!). Later walking back to the tourist centre amongst the penguin scattered amongst their burrows...very friendly little critters even sat beside the road and walkways.

Dinner and beers at the Phillip Island RSL made for a later than usual night.
